Hi and welcome to my page.

 

I know the "about me" section is meant to be used to tell you all about myself, and "big-up" my experience and qualifications in photography, in some, probably, lame attempt to get you (the viewer) to be interested in either purchasing my prints or hiring me for my services.

 

 

However, rather than bore you with the same stuff that everybody else says, I would rather let my images speak for themselves and instead I would like to share with you why I do photography in the first place:

 

Well, why does anybody?

 

To share moments.

To share experiences.

To share emotions.
 

Have you ever walked along scenery, where you found yourself taking in the beauty of it and wishing you could capture the moment forever and share it with others? If not, then either you are blind (in which case no disrespect intended and how are you reading this in first place?) or you are just numb to the beauty that surrounds us every day (in which case...my condolences, because that must suck).

Either way, my point is, to state the obvious, that is where photography comes in.

 

Sure most people have a camera these days, and anyone can point and press a button, but capturing the image exactly how you want to is not that straight forward.

And that is why I do photography, that is why I love it. The challenge of getting the image just right. Because everytime I take a picture, I do so with the hope that when I share it with another person, they look at it and see what I saw, and experience what I experienced when taking it.

 

So with that in mind, I hope I have accomplished just that, and that you enjoy my gallery.
